The church, rebuilt in 1769 thanks to donations, is located near the town cemetery. It is characterised by a single nave with a barrel vault supported by three arches and a quadrangular apse. On the two walls of the nave, on each side, there are three chapels equipped with altars. The facade has been affected by an overlap of interventions and different architectural styles. Divided into two parts, it presents the entrance portal embedded between two tortile columns. In the middle of the pediment there is a mullioned window. In the tympanum is the coat of arms of the Serra family of Ittiri. The shrine is the result of the care and devotion of the builders, of which Our Lady of Su Carminu is the patron.
