Cultural offering
The territory, dating back to the Prenuragic age, offers travellers the possibility to live exciting adventures and to retrace the various steps of its history starting with a visit to the pre and protohistoric monuments (domus de janas, menhirs, nuraghes and giants’ tombs) until arriving at those from the medieval period (churches and monasteries).
Also of particular interest is the architecture of the historic area, its abundant, small buildings in trachyte, their beautiful squares and churches and agro sanctuaries, the object of particular care and devotion and the seat of important festivals which also see the participation of inhabitants from neighbouring villages. Colours, tastes and sounds linked to ancient traditions are at the centre of each of these religious events.
